Is there a charge for room & board?

During the winter season employees that live on property are provided three meals per day, seven days a week. The Club charges a nominal fee of $50 per week for these meals. During the summer season this service is not provided, and hence we do not charge.

 

What are the requirements to be eligible for health insurance?

An employee becomes eligible for the group health plan if they are hired on a permanent year round basis. The waiting period is 6 months, during which the employee must work 32 hours or more per week to attain eligibility.

 

What facilities may I use while employed at the Club?

Employees are encouraged to enjoy the available amenities of the Hillsboro Club. This includes the beach, tennis courts and 18-hole pitch-and-putt course, business center and fitness center. We do ask that employees give preference during our busy periods to members and guests. Certain facilities like the fitness center have posted hours that the facility is available for employee use.
