The
Hillsboro Club stands on its own private peninsula at the entrance to the Hillsboro
Inlet.
At the end of the peninsula is the historic Hillsboro Lighthouse,
which guides the parade of fishing boats and luxury yachts that sail from the
Caribbean.
The grounds of the Hillsboro Club cover over 15 acres. There
are few places left in Florida that can offer such extensive and mature tropical
gardens.
Everywhere you go in the club you are surrounded by lush vegetation.
The paths that wind through grounds are banked by bougainvilleas and hibiscus,
while overhead there is a cooling green canopy of sea grapes and palms.
Out
at sea the Gulf Stream keeps the water and air warm throughout the winter and
provides a consistent, cooling breeze to the land during even the hottest summer
days.
It's a perfect spot.
